There is nothing as unnatural as a person pretending to be something they are not. Watch a movie where a smart character is being played by an actor renowned to play foolish roles. Imagine Adam Sandler playing Sheldon from Big Bang Theory.
Also, it is unnatural when a human exalts him or herself to a place where they are lord over everything, because they believe they rule their world. In our current self-promoting, highly opinionated culture it can be deem natural, when hubris is commended and where people are doing crazy things to bring attention to themselves. And yet, if you look at how people reward social media and content you will find out that we are good at spotting the spotlight seekers from true greatness.
Intrinsically, I believe, we always recognize authentic living and expression of idea and action. Somehow it is part of our being. We have something divine within us. Somehow in the way we were created, there is an ability to connect to our divine Creator.
We should recognize that we can activate that divine nature within us, when we completely acknowledge that my true nature come from God and is for God.
There is a prudent choice that we need to make before every action and decision we make – are we bowing down to exalt God in what we are about to do. Simply put, is what I’m doing for my myself or for the One who created me. For all and everything were created for Him.
This is not easy but this is where bowing down helps. Bowing expresses my inadequacy and the need for guidance in everyday life. Bowing down in a humble posture highlight where my divine nature come from and to whom it is purposed and activated. Knowing that Jesus is the King over everything should immediately put you in a kneeling position – as everybody WILL bow one day. Do it now, do it every day.
“If you bow low in God’s awesome presence, he will eventually exalt you as you leave the timing in his hands.” 1 Peter 5:6 (TPT)
Turn to God, bow down and exalt Him as the Lord and He will overwhelm you with His GLORIOUS presence and blessing.
“We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18 (TPT)
