Could we fathom, for a moment, that what God spoken is the only true and everlasting reality by which we can thrive.

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.” Matthew 24:35

“They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.” John 17:16-17

“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:10-11

When we look around us in this world, many things appear so real and yet it is not, for it is re-created with the aim to glorify self, in greed, power and desire.

Our reality should be built on that which God has spoken and declared over creation, for that is what will last, that will glorify and satisfy His purposes. His Truth is established and alive in His Word, our Bible.

When God created, he spoke everything into existence. I truly believe that God in His fullness and glory uses His words carefully (not like he would speak any trivial things), for it surely has the power to create into existence that which we can and cannot see.

We humans have that same power when we speak over things, in Spirit and truth, that which unmistakably glorify God. When we ask things in His name for His glory it will become reality for us and our community.

Lord, I set my eyes upon Your Truth, help me to discern that which is deceit and lies from the great deceiver. I will follow You all the days of my life. Amen.
