When Jesus cried out in victory over death and suffering: IT IS COMPLETE! He truly meant it, it is finish and accomplished in His one sacrifice. ONE Sacrifice for eternity, for all sin, for all believers.
Why do we believe that we can buy or achieve freedom, by works or sacrifices, by doing or keeping the rules.
The law can only be kept in complete dependency on the One who did it already. We don’t even achieve complete adherence to the law and therefor need to be washed when we dirty ourself in selfish sin.
God completed what thousands of years of human trying could not, by becoming the perfect man on earth – JESUS CHRIST. Now we can follow and become like Him – not by works but by FAITH, and not only by FAITH, but by accepting GRACE through FAITH.
This kind of acceptance, when we truly understand what Jesus did to pull us from death, bring forth a longing to live like that One who made it possible, to live and share this new way of living – FREE from sin.
JESUS cried out; IT IS COMPLETE! Let us answer in acknowledgement with love for Him and for those He loves – for in this command is all of the LAW.

Indeed, I assure you, as long as heaven and earth endure, not even the smallest detail of the Law will be done away with until its purpose is complete.” Matthew 5:17-18 (TPT)
“For Christ is the end of the law [it leads to Him and its purpose is fulfilled in Him], for [granting] righteousness to everyone who believes [in Him as Savior].” Romans 10:4 (AMP)
