This morning I’m awoken to enter the presence of the Lord and to come and listen and hear the word of Jesus Christ.

Beside me and around me I’m hearing many voices of fear and anxiety and uncertainty, but when I become quite and listen to the TRUTH I’m blessed and quenched.

But He said, “On the contrary, blessed (happy, favoured by God) are those who hear the word of God and continually observe it.” Luke 11:28 (AMP)

In Luke 11, Jesus explains how important it is to keep asking, keep on seeking, and keep on knocking and the Father, who knows best to give us exactly what we need in a time like this – THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Listen and hear the revelation from the HOLY SPIRIT that shows us the TRUTH about our current situation in South Africa and the Kingdom that Jesus established trough His resurrection.

[I always pray] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may grant you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation [that gives you a deep and personal and intimate insight] into the true knowledge of Him [for we know the Father through the Son]. And [I pray] that the eyes of your heart [the very centre and core of your being] may be enlightened [flooded with light by the Holy Spirit], so that you will know and cherish the hope [the divine guarantee, the confident expectation] to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints (God’s people), and [so that you will begin to know] what the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His [active, spiritual] power is in us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength which He produced in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion [whether angelic or human], and [far above] every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and world but also in the one to come. And He put all things [in every realm] in subjection under Christ’s feet, and appointed Him as [supreme and authoritative] head over all things in the church. Ephesians 1:17-22 (AMP)

Focus your eyes on God – yes, each person individually need to become quiet, bring your contrite hearth before the Lord, and hear His voice guiding you and activating you for times like these. To be love, hope, and to show faith beyond human measure.

BUT for us to be love, hope, and faithful sons and daughters of the Almighty in these times, we truly need to listen with a humble heart, so we can find out what God need and want to do through us. Let go of your trust in your own ideas of how to worship and serve the Lord.

For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it; You are not pleased with burnt offering. My [only] sacrifice [acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; A broken and contrite heart [broken with sorrow for sin, thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise. Psalms 51:16-17 AMP

God are looking to use each willing and humble heart in South Africa to bring peace and stability, and show the world that the answer to everything, truly is the King, Jesus Christ.

God be gracious and kind-hearted to us and bless us and make His face shine [with favor] on us— Selah. That Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation and deliverance among all nations. Psalms 67:1-2
