In most stories (books, movies, TV) we encounter nowadays, the general theme pivots around a battle between good and evil, about fierce struggles to overcome something terrible (nowadays terrible can be what we considered good some years ago – evil is being presented as good).
This is not strange though, although not front of mind when considering the apathy or ease of compliance with the majority or mainstream media. I know that our reality has been split into two worlds or kingdoms, when humans fell and worshipped another (self), rather than the true Creator and Provider, the one we are meant to represent on earth.
It happened in the garden of Eden, when another “truth” was presented to men, and we accepted it as THE truth. We have been following this same path for so long and continue to do this, if we follow the lies. BUT for the last two millennia, and a bit, we had the ability to differentiate between lies and truth, evil and good, self and godly.
How is it possible that we can rise from our fallen state to overcome evil?
God established His Kingdom, through Jesus, right here on earth where everything went pear-shaped. Because of what HE did, we can understand HIS truth again, THE TRUTH, as was established and intended before the fall. We have spiritual capacity with the ability to overcome DEATH through the ONE who conquered death – ONCE AND FOR ALL.
We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. And after you have become fully obedient, we will punish everyone who remains disobedient. 2 CORINTHIANS 10:3-6 (NLT)
We see the kingdom of satan clearly around us. Satan is busy erecting strongholds and false arguments about God, humans, being human, in all spheres of life. Just look at all the -isms. And we so easily fall for it, when we do not question and regard every idea and thought that is put to us against the TRUTH of God. Satan know that if we don’t believe the complete Truth about God, he can hold us ransom, to frustrate God’s plan.
We so easily and flippantly ask why there is so much pain and sadness in the world. Everything seem to be terrible. Even though this world consists of many pains due to the fallen nature that has not been redeemed yet, our victory is exactly in the suffering for the righteous cause that Jesus started. This suffering we endure now, in the knowledge of the victory that we have, in Jesus Christ, we apply it in true love, sacrificial love for one another. If we are persecuted for loving Jesus no matter what, we will share in His glory, in a resurrected life, now and in heaven.
A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect —life in its fullness until you overflow! JOHN 10:10 (TPT)
Knowing that disobedience to the TRUTH of God lead to death and pain, which is the result of sin, even if it looks so deliciously attractive. But now we can overcome death if we acknowledge that we need to accept and live by the Truth and Words of the one who is Lord above all – the ONE who conquered it all. He provides this Truth in us through His Word and Spirit.
Are you worried about the kingdom of this world that seem to be so entrenched and established in delicious and terrible lies? The lies and the greed and self-exultation?
Remember dear reader, if you accept Jesus as Lord, you are reconciled into HIM who has authority and dominion over everything.
Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed. DANIEL 7:14 (NKJV)
If we follow the true KING, we will also conquer here on earth.
‘True love for God means obeying his commands, and his commands don’t weigh us down as heavy burdens. You see, every child of God overcomes the world, for our faith is the victorious power that triumphs over the world. So, who are the world conquerors, defeating its power? With this faith in Jesus Christ, our victorious King, we have all the right weapons to break every blockage, stronghold and entrenched lie that stand in our way to diligently follow and serve in His Kingdom.
Submit all rebellious thoughts to Jesus and, this is important, accept and live in His truth.
